NARGENFESTIVAL and SKENE Katus Kunstile present

 

The world-famous Finnish accordionist and composer Kimmo Pohjonen is a musician whose style and search for new sounds make him a truly unique artist. Pohjonen's music has a primordial power. It is like a shamanistic ritual, a flow of sounds full of wild energy cascading from his five-line accordion. His performances bring together surround sound and a light show, which create a unique visual and sound experience. For thirty years Pohjonen has performed his solo program at many jazz, world music, and electronic music festivals around the world. The three concerts he brings to the Estonian islands include both earlier and completely new works.

The light artist for the show is Priidu Adlas.
