Shel Silverstein is a USA poet, writer, artist, musician and songwriter. His 'Generous Tree' is a heartfelt story about giving and taking, love and being happy, life and its values. The poetic and simple story together with the author's witty illustrations have inspired Tõnu Kaljuste to commission the composer Tauno Aints and choreographer Marina Kesler to create a dance performance for Nargenfestival; the rights to present the work have been granted for only three times.
