The opening concert of Arvo Pärt Days is the premiere of the composer's instrumental work „Greater Antiphons“. The world debut of the composition took place this year in May in Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles, performed by Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. The orchestra composition created at the end of last year did sound as the culmination of the 'Mozart & Pärt' festival which took place 19-29 May and focused on Arvo Pärt's music.

The new composition is accompanied by Arvo Pärt's works dating back to 1960s – „Pro et contra“, ''Collage of B-A-C-H theme'' and „Credo“, created using sound collage technique. The soloist of the cello concert „Pro et contra“ is Leho Karin, the principal of the cello section of Tallinn Chamber Orchestra.
