It has become a tradition to include Cyrillus Kreek's creative work in the program, which this time is accompanied by Tõnu Kõrvits's and Pärt Uusberg's works. Tõnu Kõrvits was commisioned to write a special piece for the concert – a cycle of arranged spiritual folk tunes of Estonian Swedes performed for the first time by the celebrated Swedish traditional music singer, Lena Willemark, together with Estonian musicians. |
