The musical career and violin studies of Andres Kaljuste, a violin and viola player, began at the age of five in Aino Riikjärve's violin class. After finishing Tallinn Musical High School, he continued his education in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, Stockholm Edsberg Music Institute and Berlin Hanns Eisler Music Higher School under the guidance of Urmas Vulp, Nina Balabina, Oleg Balabin and professor Ulf Wallin.

Kaljuste has worked in Stockholm Lilla Akademien as a violin and viola instructor, orchestra conductor and head of instrumental ensembles and taught master classes in chamber music and violin play in St Petersburg Mussorgsky Musical College as well as Guang Zhou and Xi An Conservatory in China. In 2009-2011 he was a member of Berlin Broadcast Orchestra Academy. Kaljuste has earned prizes at international and home competitions: Mendelssohn Cup in Italy (1st prize) and Estonian Violin Players Competition (3rd prize), Con brio 2004 ( ERSO and Vanemuine Theatre special prizes).

As a soloist he has performed with orchestras including Verona Philharmonics, Belgrade Strings, Chamber Orchestra of Lilla Akademien, Cappella Academica, ERSO and other Estonian orchestras.

Both as a chamber musician and soloist Andres Kaljuste has performed at numerous festivals in Estonia, Norway, Denmark, China and Britain. Since 2007 he is a resident artist of Nargenfestival.

He has also contributed to the creation of the American soprano Hila Plitmann's Grammy-winning recording 'The Ancient Question' released at the end of 2011 (Signum Records).

Sophia Rahman (pianist) has performed as a soloist and chamber musician and participated in over 20 chamber music recordings with different music companies. She is a renowned founding member of the Plane-Dukes-Rahman Trio (clarinet, viola, piano). The Trio was a resident ensemble in Belfast Queen's University for 8 years. Sophia Rahman has played in chamber ensembles such as English Chamber Orchestra, Northern Sinfonia, London Mozart Players and with London Royal Opera House soloists. She has performed as a soloist with Nargenfestival's Orchestra and Scottish Ensemble in famous concert halls of London and other European cities including Concertgebouw, Köln Philharmony, Wien Musikverein and St Petersburg Philharmony. Sophia Rahman has also toured in South America, China, India, New Zealand, Kazakhstan and Turkey. Her concerts have been broadcasted by BBC Radio 3 and 4, Classic FM, All Indian Radio as well as national channels in Portugal, Estonia, Sweden and the Netherlands. Sophia Rahman's activities also include work as a guest lecturer in Stockholm Lilla Akademien and instructor of master courses in Royal Scottish Music and Drama Academy, St Petersburg Mussorgsky Music College and Guang Zhou and Xi An conservatory in China. Sophia Rahman has studied in Yehudi Menuhin School and graduated from London Royal Music Academy.
