Andres Kaljuste is a violin talent of the younger Estonian generation and a member of Berlin Orchestra Academy. He comes to share his knowledge and experience obtained abroad together with a long-standing ensemble partner, pianist Sophia Rahman, a graduate of London's Royal Academy of Music. In addition to Paul Hindemith's viola sonatas they - in cooperation with the best Estonian old music specialists Lembit Orgse (piano) and Tõnu Jõesaar (cello) - will perform Johann Sebastian Bach's viola da gamba sonatas arranged for viola, whose sound is similar to the tone of the ancient instrument.
